Not too long ago I was on a consulting call with a client of ours. They had an interested prospect and I asked, “Have you called them?” The client answered, “no”, so I encouraged them to make the call right then and there. And guess what? It worked! After a 20-minute conversation, this client was now working towards closing the deal!

Get them talking about their business and what their pain points are. Really invest your time into finding out about them and their business. Be genuine and interested in what they have to say.
